Invese Logic DKP System (submitted by stormmaster at 09:17pm MDT)![]() Inverse Logic Loot Distribution System Inverse Logic is utilizing a loot system based on earning DKP for raids attended and spending DKP for items via a bid system. Earning DKP... You will earn 1 DKP per hour you are in attendance at raids. The DKP you earn is based purely on your participation/attendance not based on success or failure of the raid. The method to record will be done via log files and the system is EQDKP via hosting service. 1st hour log file is done 15 min after raid start time. Each additional log file is done approx hourly there after. It may vary slightly based on target or conditions (ie if wiping or traveling etc). Some things to remember for earning DKP and having accurate attendance tracking: 1.Being in /anon mode is NEVER allowed, being in /role mode is allowed but NOT during raid time. 2. Be sure to watch your DKP regularly. If you find you are missing at a raid you attended please post the date and raid hr and target via in the DKP/Raid Tracking section of the message boards and it will be updated. Corrections will ONLY be made when posted on the website in appropriate section. Tells to the DKP Officer will simply yield a response to “please post on the board” and they will be handled regularly so no one gets behind. 3. Additionally if you are in an illusion form or other reasons you don't get picked up our DKP Officers will correct it for you, again this is accomplished via a post on the message boards. Eligibility for Earning DKP… 1. DKP is given to any main, bot, applicant or conditional member, who is on time and participating in the raid. DKP is not given to family members, non raiders, or guests. They are considered “guests” at raids. If you are asked to sit out of the raid due to space/class restraints you will receive DKP for that hour and subsequent hours, provided you are online, and remain available to join the raid if a spot opens if you are a main, any non mains will not receive DKP when not participating in raids. If you are sitting out because you are not flagged/keyed DKP will be given if it is a zone requiring guild assistance to enter (ie DP/DK). If you are not flagged/keyed for a zone that does not require guild assistance (ie Anguish/ToB) you will not receive DKP for the period of time we are in there. If you are called upon to enter the raid while sitting out, you are expected to be available within a few minutes. If you are AFK / non responsive at the time we can add you to the raid, you forfeit DKP for that hour. If you are going to be AFK for a minute or two, send a tell to raidleader as usual. If you are asked to drop and decide to just camp for the night you will not receive DKP. 2. Bots - No DKP is given to bots that are not actively participating in raid or asked to sit out. (Inverse logic does allow certain bots to raid with the guild at the Officers discretion....Botting is a privilege not a right. It is up to the Officers/Class Leader/Raid Leader to determine if the bot is required for raid success and must be contributing to the raid to.) NOTE: You are not allowed to play your Bot instead of your main unless the raid leader requests you to do so to ensure the success of the raid. You may also be asked to drop your bot at anytime to make room for mains, and are expected to comply with the Raid Leaders’s request. 3. Latecomers - If a main is late, DKP is given starting from the next raid hour start (log). If they cannot get into the raid immediately due to raid being full, task locked, etc., they may still receive DKP starting from the next raid hour start (log) provided they are online, and remain available to join the raid if a spot open. (Join ILWAIT) If you are called upon to enter the raid while sitting out, you are expected to be available within a few minutes. If you are AFK / non responsive at the time we can add you to the raid, you forfeit DKP for that hour. If you are going to be AFK for a minute or two, send a tell to raidleader as usual. If you are late and cannot get into raid and decide to just camp for the night you receive no DKP. Spending DKP... We are using a bidding system. The highest bid will be announced 3 times before closed. This will give you an opportunity to counter bid. You may send in any number of bids you like for a single item, however you may only send in bids on one item per mob killed. Eligibility for Spending DKP: 1st call loot will go to Full member mains with dkp of 5 or higher with 20% or higher attendance in the 60 day category. Min bid 5 2nd call loot will be open to all others with DKP of 1 or higher with no attendance requirement of any status. Min bid 1 3rd call loot will be fore individuals that do not have DKP or are guests/family members at raids. Items will be randomed (only individuals tagged as family/nonraider/other are eligibile to random, if you have dkp you must bid). - You must be in attendance and participating in the kill, or the "Open to All" rule apply regardless of Main/Bot/App status. NOTE: Citadel of Anguish will be an “Open to All” zone with no min bid on all items. All other zones and all other loot will follow the above eligibility requirements regardless of content level. * We may review this as our targets/needs change in the future. We are trusting you to watch your attendance and wait until your attendance picks up before putting in for loot if you have fallen below 20%, especially after periods of being away. Anyone sending in bids that do not meet the attendance requirement and without approval may result in a DKP penalty based on leadership discretion. - You may NOT bid more DKP than you have. It is each members responsibility for making sure they know the DKP they have in their individual banks and not bid over that amount. If found bidding more DKP then you have you will receive a warning, requesting you to monitor your bids and your DKP, found doing that in subsequent future bids may result in a DKP penalty based on leadership discretion. - You may only place a bid on (1) ONE drop per "PLAYER" per “MOB” killed. So if there are more than 1 item you want on a given mob select which item you want the most and which toon you want it for and bid on that item ONLY. - NOTE....IF you bid be prepared to spend the amount you are bidding, you will not be allowed to pass. Please only bid on items you want, it is discouraged to bid just to increase the going price, any evidence of that could result in a DKP penalty. - Loot is awarded to highest bidder and they will be charged the amount of their bid. If you bid 50 you will be charged 50 regardless of any other bids received lower than yours. - Highest bid will be announced at regular intervals during the bidding process. You will not know who you are bidding against but you will know what the bids are going for. You may send multiple tells for the same item if you wish to increase your bid at any time. Here is an example of how it will work... Lets say we are in Crushbone...we have worked our way up to Emperor Crushbone himself...he drops Belt of Stormmaster Slaying Officer_03 will say in raid say: Taking bids on Belt of Stormmaster Slaying Tells will come in with numbers such as 2, 1, 3 Officer_03 will say in raid say: Taking bids on Belt of Stormmaster Slaying 3 They will announce price "going once" They will announce price "going twice" They will announce price "LAST CALL" They will announce item "CLOSED" They will announce the winner and the DKP charged. If at any time the bid is raised the new high bid will be announced and the once, twice, last call will be repeated until during the last call there are no additional bids received. Once it is CLOSED any bids received will not be valid. The time may vary depending on conditions (ie mid clean up, mid wipe, high priority items) so be sure to be watching for tells, this provides still enough opportunity to get tells in even if dead, you do not need to link your loot so you may send tells from Guild Lobby or your bind point. Inactivity & DKP Devaluation Policy This policy will effect individuals that do not raid for periods of time in excess of 3 months, exept when inactive due to military service. Essentially this is a scaling devaluation of DKP, the longer you are gone, the more DKP will deminish. Base Factor Devaluation Factor = -25% applied each 3 month period of inactivity Applied To: Remaining DKP balance at the time the factor is applied This is a sliding scale effect. Meaning it is not 25%, 50%, 75% etc of your balance. This is 25% of balance, then 25% of the lowered balance, then 25% of that balance…etc. Min/Max Factor To balance the DKP of returning members we will apply a Min and Max returning balance. Min = 25 This is the min DKP an individual can be lowered to regardless of length of absence * If the individual had <25 DKP when they left there is no devaluation effect Max = 75 This is the max DKP an individual can return with that have been gone > 6 months Eligibility 0 – 6 month absence = No additional attendance requirements to spend DKP > 6 month absence = Must obtain 50% of 60 day attendance before spending DKP * Individuals that have been gone > 6 mo will be marked “inactive”. And subject to the above 50% requirement. After they reach 50% the inactive flag will be removed and they will be eligible based on the standard eligibility requirements. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Any suggestions or recommendations or comments or questions or concerns should be directed to Stormmaster via an email to stormmastert@yahoo.com.
