Inverse Logic Loot Distribution System (submitted by Lauraena at 03:30pm MST)![]() Inverse Logic Loot Distribution System Inverse Logic uses a loot system based on earning DKP for attending raids. DKP is spent on loots using a bid system. General Information -Being in /anon or /role is not allowed during raid time. -Each member is responsible to create a user account on the EQDKP site to monitor their own DKP total and attendance percents. -Corrections/errors: Missing attendance? Mis-charged Loot? POST the date and raid hour and target in the DKP/Raid Tracking section of the message boards with any pertinent information. Tells to a DKP Officer will simply yield a response to “please post on the board”. Earning DKP... DKP is earned at 1 DKP per hour you are in attendance at raids. Attendance is recorded via log files. The log files are done at raid start time and approximately hourly thereafter. Eligibility for Earning DKP… DKP is awarded to any main, bot, applicant or conditional member, who is on time and participating in the raid. Mains: - asked to sit out of the raid due to space / class needs WILL receive DKP for that hour and subsequent hours, provided you are online, join ILWAIT and remain available to join the raid if a spot opens.* - Latecomers: DKP is given starting from the next raid hour start (log). If you cannot get into the raid immediately due to raid being full, task locked, etc., you may still receive DKP starting from the next raid hour start (log) provided you are online, join ILWAIT and remain available to join the raid if a spot opens.* *If you are called upon to enter the raid while sitting out you are expected to be available. If you are AFK / non responsive at the time we can add you to the raid, you forfeit DKP for that hour. If you need to AFK for a minute or two, send a tell to the raid leader or officer. - asked to sit out because you are not flagged / keyed you may NOT receive DKP at leadership discretion. - asked to sit out that decide to just camp for the night will not receive DKP. - late and cannot get into raid and decide to just camp for the night will not receive DKP. Bots: - No DKP is given to bots that are not actively participating in raid or who have been asked to sit out. (Inverse logic does allow bots to raid with the guild at the Officers discretion. Botting is a privilege not a right. It is up to the Officers/Class Leader/Raid Leader to determine if a bot is needed for raid success. Your bot is expected to perform buffs and other duties of the botted class to the best of your ability in addition to your main. You are not allowed to play your Bot instead of your main unless the raid leader requests you to do so to ensure the success of the raid.) You may be asked to drop your bot at anytime, and are expected to comply with the raid leader’s request. Others: -DKP is not awarded to “family” members, non-raiders, alts or guests. They are considered “guests” at raids. Being allowed in the raid as a guest is subject to raid leader / leadership discretion and you may be asked to drop from raid at any time, and are expected to comply with the raid leader’s request. Spending DKP... You may only send in bids on one item per player per mob killed. (If there is more than 1 item that dropped on a given mob select which item you want to bid on and bid on that item ONLY.) In the event that 2 (or more) duplicate identical items drop from the same mob, you will be allowed to bid on the 2nd if you had bid on the 1st and lost. The highest bid will be announced at least 3 times before closed. i.e. – Going once, going twice, last call (repeated as needed), then closed. You may counter bid any number of times until bids are closed. Bids received after an item is closed are invalid and disregarded. The winner will be announced and charged the amount of their bid. Eligibility for Bidding DKP: 1st call: Active full member mains with 5 or more DKP and with 30% or higher attendance in the 60 day category. They must be in attendance and participating in the kill (or in ilwait before the event), or they must wait for "Open to All" to be able to bid. Minimum bid = 5 DKP. 2nd call: “Open to All” All others (such as Applicants, Bots, and Inactive) with 1 or more DKP and with no attendance requirement. They must be in attendance and participating in the kill. Minimum bid = 1 DKP. 3rd call: “Rot” Individuals that do not have DKP or are guests at raids may send a tell to the loot officer. If more then one tell is received the item may be randomed. (only individuals tagged as family/nonraider/other are eligible to random, if you have DKP you must bid). Mains wanting a rot item for an alt will be charged 1 dkp (or more if multiple bids) and allowed to do so only if looting does not hold up the rest of the raid. (leadership discretion) Penaltys -You are responsible to watch your attendance percent and DKP total. Anyone sending in bids that does not meet the attendance requirement may result in a warning or DKP penalty. - You may NOT bid more DKP than you have. It is your responsibility for making sure they know the DKP they have in their individual banks and not bid over that amount. Doing so may result in a warning or DKP penalty. - You may only send in bids on one item per player per mob killed. (If there is more than 1 item that dropped on a given mob select which item you want to bid on and bid on that item ONLY.) Bidding up multiple items may result in a warning or DKP penalty. In the event that 2 (or more) duplicate identical items drop from the same mob, you will be allowed to bid on the 2nd if you had bid on the 1st and lost. - If you bid be prepared to spend the amount you are bidding, you will not be allowed to pass. Please only bid on items you want, it is discouraged to bid just to increase the going price, and any evidence of that could result in a warning or DKP penalty. Inactivity & DKP Devaluation Policy This policy will affect individuals that raid 10% or less over a 90 day (3 month) period, except when due to military service. Essentially this is a scaling devaluation of DKP, the longer you are gone, the more DKP will diminish. Base Factor Devaluation Factor = -25% applied each 3 month period of inactivity Applied To: Remaining DKP balance at the time the factor is applied This is a sliding scale effect. Meaning it is not 25%, 50%, 75% etc of your balance. This is 25% of balance, then 25% of the lowered balance, then 25% of that balance…etc. Min/Max Factor To balance the DKP of returning members we will apply a Min and Max returning balance. Min = 25 This is the min DKP an individual can be lowered to regardless of length of absence * If the individual had <25 DKP when they left there is no devaluation effect Max = 75 This is the max DKP an individual can return with that have been gone > 6 months Eligibility Members who raid 10% or less over a 90 day period will be marked “inactive”. Regaining “active” member status will take into account the following: -Meeting your current class requirements, as determined by the class leader or officers or combination thereof. -Class fullness: If your class is ‘full’ as determined by the class leader, raid leader, officers or combination thereof, you may have to wait for a position in your class to become open in order to have a spot in raids again. -Once class requirements are met and a spot is available, you must earn 50% in the 30 day category to be re-considered an “active” raiding member, at which time you become re-eligible to bid on loot. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Any suggestions, recommendations, comments, questions or concerns should be directed to Lauraena via a pm on the Inverse Logic forums. |
